About the cottage
The Settler's cottage makes for the perfect couples retreat, set on 60 acres in tranquil Cedar Creek near Samford and only 45 minutes from Brisbane city. The studio cottage features a luxurious king bed, high ceilings with fans and a beautiful reconditioned wood stove. Recently completed, it has a lot of character built with 140 year old timber and local stone, and is complemented with modern facilities such as wireless internet access, coffee machine, a well equipped kitchen,a Weber BBQ and air conditioning. The cottage also has a record player and a tv if you would like to play some music or watch Netflix.
The attractive gardens offer uninterrupted creek access so you can dip in the rock pools and maybe spot the local platypus at dusk or dawn. You are able to unwind and sit back on the beautiful verandah or little courtyard with a glass of wine or a nice cup of tea.
Peaceful and private it makes for a perfect break from the hustle and bustle of a busy life.
Please note that the property has limited mobile service so you can turn off the phones and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the creek running past.
